ANOTHER NEGLECTED WELSH POET OF THE GREAT WAR: WILLIAM GEOFFREY THOMAS OF THE ROYAL WELCH FUSILIERS (1883–1960)

Following on from my earlier articles about the writer Gruffydd Dewi Roberts during the Great War and the sculptor Maurice Lambert in the Second World War, research by Ms Lucy London, who has been researching war poets as part of her Commemorative First World War Exhibition Project, has re-discovered another literary figure of The Royal Welch Fusiliers. This is Captain William Geoffrey Thomas, who served in the 9th Battalion of the Regiment and later in the Machine Gun Corps.
