Dr Sara Elin Roberts is a medievalist specialising in medieval Wales, particularly the history of medieval Wales, the law of Hywel Dda, texts and manuscripts, and middle Welsh prose. She has worked as a lecturer in several universities, including the School of Welsh and the School of History at Bangor University, and the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Chester. Dr Roberts has published widely on various aspects of medieval Wales, including her award-winning monograph on Welsh law, The Legal Triads of Medieval Wales (UWP, 2007). She was also one of the editors of the new edition of the work of Dafydd ap Gwilym, published online as www.dafyddapgwilym.net
