Becoming a Member

The Cymmrodorion attracts a diverse range of individual and corporate members from across the globe. Our current membership includes men and women from all walks of life, active in the nation’s political and cultural development, who passionately promote the Arts and Science of Wales.

The Society also boasts the corporate membership of many institutions, including the British Library and the National Libraries of Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Many universities and academic institutions from around the world also subscribe to our membership; these include the University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies, and the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard.

The Society’s members also receive regular updates on news and events, and have considerable input into the running of the Society by exercising their right to put forward proposals and vote during the election Council Members at the Annual General Meeting.
