Welsh Art Week London 2016 – an Exhibition and Events for St Davids Day week, Monday, 29 February to Saturday, 5 March 2016

Organisers: The Gallery / Yr Oriel, Newport, Pembs.

Venue: The Woolff Gallery, 89 Charlotte Street, W1T 4PU

The exhibition will be OPEN DAILY between 10am and 6pm from Monday 29th February until Saturday 5th March. Artists exhibiting include Denis Curry, Annette de Mestre, Mike Jones, Gillian McDonald, Wynne Jenkins, Alice Tennant, Lyndon Thomas, Steve Wilson, Ro Rogers, Adam Buick, penny d jones, Lilwen Lewis, Hugo Colville and Jo Lowde.

Special Evening Events:

  • Tuesday 1st March 6 – 8pm Art Exhibition Launch with drinks and the launch of a new book by Parthian Publishers ‘Hiraeth – Stories from Patagonia’ by Steph Davies and illustrated by Lucy Burns.
  • Thursday 3rd March 6 – 8pm Welsh evening with harpist Carys Hughes. Welsh food and drinks will be served and the cultural focal point of the evening will be the winners of the West Wales Young Artist competition.
  • Friday 4th March 6 – 8pm Premier Book Launch of Peter Lord’s “New History of Welsh Art”, published by Parthian Books.
