The Society organizes an ambitious series of lectures at which speakers from academic and public life present papers in English and Welsh.
Our meetings are held in London and Wales, at venues that include the Senedd in Cardiff Bay and the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. A special lecture in Welsh—known as the Sir T. H. Parry-Williams Memorial Lecture—is also held at the National Eisteddfod of Wales each year.
The Society also hosts many events in conjunction with others, including the Institute of Welsh Affairs, Wales in London and the Mongomeryshire Society. The Annual General Meeting of the Society is usually held in May each year.
All events organised by the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion are followed by a short wine reception to which all present are invited. Lectures are published, along with other contributions, in the annual Transactions, a copy of which is sent to every member.
